Sadness...

From CNN: Hunter S. Thompson dead at 67 - Feb 21, 2005

I have quoted Thompson several times over the years and almost always have one of his books pulled from the shelf, half-read and waiting for more. It will be interesting to see if he left some kind of final note before taking his life yesterday. I can't imagine a man who wrote about everything in his life not saying some kind of final good-bye.

As his recent piece in Rolling Stone showed, the good doctor still had plenty to say.
